Whakatauki

I chose this whakatauki  because I think I need to work on some skills that i have gave up on or I don't know.

Camp moment

  Camp story！

Oh no! The chain fell off. The instructor Sam had to fix it and I was off again. We started slow then we got faster and faster. We rode around the flying kiwi and watched them for a while being thrown up in the air. Sam showed us through the course and taught us some tips and tricks on how to go on the ramps.

Now it was time to have the fun. Some ramps were so easy but some were really challenging, like the see saw. One of the reasons I thought the see saw was challenging was because I couldn’t keep my bike going straight so I kept on falling off the edge. The other ramps were either okay or easy. I kept on challenging myself.

This was the last round.I said to myself “ I can do it, I can do it, i can do it. I gave it my best shot. I lined up the bike, I started pedaling, my bike was balanced as I approached the see saw. Up one side, keep going, the see saw tipped and I launched off the ramp. I was proud.

log cabin story.

It was sunrise. I was standing in front of a creepy path that lead to a spooky forest. The path was filled with dirt, brown leaves and rocks. As I walked in all I could see was mist but as I walked further in I could see sunlight shining through the woods. I kept on walking and now I could see dry grass, tall and short trees, bumpy steep hills and a straight path in front of me. All I could hear were birds tweeting. Ahead of me I could see a clearing and as I got closer the sunlight shone more at me like it was going to make me blind.

It was afternoon, I finally made it to the clearing and there I saw a spooky log cabin that looked like it was haunted. It had broken windows and a broken door. The cabin looked very old and abandoned. I walked up to the broken front door and opened it…
